Sarah Choo-Yick, MD

Dr. Choo-Yick was born in Guyana and migrated with her family to Canada at the young age of twelve. She received her Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Western Ontario followed by her MD from Saba University School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency training at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. She was honored with the Family Medicine Resident Award for Scholarship and the Family Medicine Resident Making a Difference Award. She completed the Integrative Medicine residency training program through the collaboration of Mercer University School of Medicine and The Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. During her residency she founded a business in Macon, Georgia and enjoys being a role model to female entrepreneurs. She and her family plan to establish their roots in Macon and become active members of the growing community.
