Dr. Gorby Leon received his Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He later completed his medical school program at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA and residency training at Navicent Health Family Medicine Residency Program, Macon, GA in 2016. Upon graduation he accepted a full-time position at the Family Health Center, Navicent Health and served as an Assistant Professor in the Family Medicine Residency Program for 2 years. In addition, he has worked as a hospitalist at Medical Center of Peach County, Navicent Health and at Urgent Care, Navicent Health facilities in Macon. Effective October 2018, Dr. Leon will be transitioning to his practice at Primary Care Associates Byron and Navicent Health Valley Medical. He is excited for the opportunity in building a patient centered practice that leverages technology and innovation to meet patient needs and preferences while delivering high quality and value care.
