What do you like about the program: I was born and raised in Macon, Ga and this program gave me the opportunity to service the community in which I grew up. Additionally, this is a Family Medicine program that truly embodies the meaning of family. The faculty, residents, and staff not only work well together but we know how to enjoy one another too. I was also drawn to the Integrative Medicine Program and associated Geriatric Fellowship. As these programs will aid in reaching my goal of treating the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) from birth until death.

What Do You Like About the Program?: I chose family medicine for the broad scope of practice. I see medicine as a way to show people love and take care of them on some of their worst days. Family medicine will teach me to take care of people with various illnesses and problems. I chose this program because it feels like we are a family, we work together, learn together and help each other. I'm looking forward to growing and learning over the next three years.
