Therapeutic Learning Clinic

The Therapeutic Learning Clinic (TLC) provides evidence-based, comprehensive services to young children (ages 2-5) with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders. Our services focus on the development of communication, social/emotional, adaptive, motor, behavioral, and pre-academic skills to aid the child in being successful in the home, school, and community settings.

The TLC's comprehensive therapeutic team consists of educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and teaching assistants. The TLC implements a combination of verbal behavior, natural environment, and discrete trial teaching strategies in order to assist the children in progressing towards their individualized goals. In addition to our evidence-based early intervention strategies, our comprehensive therapeutic team coordinates therapy services to meet the individualized needs of each child. We implement a pre-academic/early childhood curriculum for preparing your child for entry into the school system. We also work with family, school, and community agencies to provide a smooth transition for children exiting our clinic.

Children referred to our program may demonstrate difficulties in cognition, communication, socialization, emotional regulation, sensory processing, fine and gross motor, pre-academic, school readiness, and toilet training, as well as other deficits.
