Tom Oliver, MD, is acting President & CEO of Navicent Health, the leading provider of healthcare in central and south Georgia and a strategic partner with Atrium Health. As a member of the executive leadership team, Dr. Oliver represents over 50 facilities across the organization to ensure consistency in strategy, practice and quality. A practicing radiologist since 1984, Dr. Oliver joined Navicent Health in 2017. Previously, he was a partner with Radiology Associates of Macon (RAM) and has practiced in the Georgia market for 35 years.
Additional leadership positions held include chief of radiology for Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital, vice president of RAM and chairman of RAM's finance committee. Dr. Oliver is an active member of the American College of Radiology, the Georgia Radiological Society and the Bibb County Medical Society. He has published articles in multiple peer reviewed journals including Radiology, AJR and Clinical Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Oliver is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in both neuroradiology and vascular radiology. He is a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine, completing his residency and fellowship at Emory University affiliated hospitals, where he also served as chief resident.
